That is cool, but I wouldn't have any corners to pile full of junk that I should throw away but keep because I might need it someday.

I love these old structures. Can't and don't make them like that anymore. In Gagetown, MICH is the Octagon Barn. Every SEP they hold a Fall Festival Weekend. My
grandfather and his brother were part of the crew who built they Octagon Barn. At the same time they were building the barn, a nother crew was buding St. Agathas catholic
Church in Gagetown. Both still stand and operate.

Usually rich folks had them mostly for show it seems although a farm near me used to use their round barn for an arena to stage chicken/cock fights back in the 1960's.Made some good $$$$ raising game roosters and selling them, best part time job I ever had.

Theoretically, if there was only two rollers on each double door, the track wouldn't have to be straight so long as it was mounted outwards far enough for the straight door to not rub on the curved wall. Mounting the two rollers towards the middle of the door (about a 1/4th of the way in from the outer top corner), would also aid in the middle of door not dragging when opened.

Hard to see door details in this photo, but I'm guessing doors are built straight, wall curved, and track just mounted to the wall in such a way that it works. Maybe as I described. Maybe not.
