Is there a name for these "passenger-carrying devices" that so many folks use on tractor drives? They are typically attached via the 3-point. Never know what to call them. Anyone know?

Tony, I have heard of not caring for the MIL but you get the top award! ; > ) How does that go? ..out of the pot into the frying pan.. ha ha. Ohyou probably meant ..seat..

When they were small my boys called the 3 point carrier
the wagon with out wheels. At parent teacher the teacher
said they are doing great but I have a question what is a
wagon with out wheels.

I am not sure of any official name but if you are considering one consider safety in every step of design and construction. On a Hill Country ride a couple of years ago a fellow from the flatlands of the Texas
South Plains let his tractor get away from him going down a hill. He panicked and put the clutch in which was worse and he rear ended me. I had a basket type thing on my 3 pt. which took the blow and I wasn't
knocked off the roadway into the ditch. He was very shook up and then I pointed out the rig in front of me with the driver's wife and 2 kids in it. They were not wearing seat belts. I haven't seen him on a
ride since.

A carry all?

Anybody that would want to drive the MI bridge crossing would not be allowed to put people in/on such a platform. They have to have an actual seat with a way to keep it fastened to the tractor while riding.
