I got one from way up north Alabama.... Almost to TN.... Farmal 1086 in the bushes. There were several more large, older IH tractors up by the barn.

I like the 56 series IH on the chopper. I am a Deere person but if I had to have red it would be a 56 series. Most likely the tractor pictured is a 1256 or 1456. Rye makes good silage but for top quality feed has a very short harvest window at a time of the year where the weather often does not cooperate. Tom

Tell me about it.....I have a field of rye/tall fescue that has been ready to cut for over 2 weeks with customer's livestock not so patiently waiting. Forecast for the next 10 days again forecasting constant rain.

The good news is that my sorghum-sudan patch is up 1-<2 with rain yesterday. Perfect timing for the <1 per day coming.
