Got a friend that used a belt pulley on the back of his old military jeep to pull his syrup mill last fall.

Ive never seen a baler or combine with the pickup on the left side. Is that a real thing or did the negative get flipped when they printed the picture?

New Holland model 76 baler with Wisconsin engine. Heavy baler and hay wagon could be too much for that Jeep unless on very flat ground.

Im not versed in Jeeps and I figured my assumption was off. Did the CJ-3A have PTO?

I never saw an Allis Chalmers 5' pull type combine where the pickup WASN'T on the left side. And they were almost standard issue on farms after they came out.

I can recall at least 5 that I operated at various times.

Pto was not factory installed. They could be installed on all 4WD up to and including CJ5. Google Jeep and see if you can find the video of what all could be attached. I know of; pto, 3 point hitch, trencher, mower and plow on 3 point.

I have had CJ2A, CJ5, Jeepster and Scrambler. Then made the move to '76 Bronco, big mistake. Then to '86 Power Ram, '01 Dodge. '08 Dodge, and now '19 Ram Classic.

The Jeep is still showing left hand drive.
