With the yellow wheel centers it sorta looks like a MH pony! The more I pressure washed the more yellow was exposed. I plan to sand through the yellow somewhere and see if it's red underneath. Be an interesting '49 if it was originally yellow.

I have never seen a yellow cub..
Could it be a dealers demo model?

Your post yesterday about the disassembled cub, and this one has prompted me to suggest that you and your family create Cub City, Alabama. Offer tours, a museum, tractor rides and classes of tractor repair and restorations. Yall could pull it off! Your Cub work is amazing!
 
There was one state, Iforget which and all of my books are in storage now, that IH was the only provider of road equipment from the late 40s until the mis 60s. The ywere marked, but I dont reall how. This may be one of those. Seems like it was Mississippi.
