Hydraulic Center Link: Length (for MF1100)

Thinking of putting a hydraulic center link on MF 1100, category 2. Would be used primarily with back blade and pallet forks, maybe with brush hog. There are several options for length. Thinking of using the length of my current arm at standard setting as a midpoint for the hydraulic link. Does that sound reasonable? Any comments on pros / cons of hydraulic link are appreciated.

That sounds reasonable. I have different tractors.....

With a cat 1 and a cat 2 hyd top link, I find Im often using them shorter rather than longer, so if you arent in the exact middle I would be inclined to take a 2 inches shorter version.

The upper link is usually shorter than the lower arms.

Tool mast being vertical, you need to have the three point hitch about 2 inches in front of the lower link, at the mast height. (483mm for sae2, and 610 for iso2)

That is exactly what you want set your current top then find the hydraulic that will go to center at that setting then you will have some movement either way. You will like it on you pallet forks .
