Very nice restoration. I am curious why this B, like mine also ,does not have a swinging drawbar. Such a feature would be quite handy

What's worse is no electrical system! I had an early one like this with no electric and no provision for a hydraulic system. The belt pulley was solid cast iron and the shaft was smaller. Later ones had a pressed steel pulley and a bigger shaft. And if they didn't have a hydraulic system, they at least had provision for one.

Dad's 1948 B never had a swinging drawbar. It would have interfered with the belly mounted sickle mower. We learned to turn without it.
