This Case was my wife's Grandfathers tractor, had to buy a parts model to help out with the resto, I passed it on to my Bil who now owns the home place, it lived in my subdivision for 10 yrs plus and now is in its rightful place.

Thats a nice DC4 and so similar to mine. Except mine has both brake pedals on the right. Also don't have that chrome strip on the side of the hood. Mine is supposed to be a 52 or 53 model. And is that two gas tank caps? Maybe a distillate burning model?

Nice looking CASE tractor. You did a wonderful job. My 52 DC3 has holes for two fuel tanks but only has the one gASOLINE TANK. dOES YOURS HAVE THE DISTILATE TANK?? sorry I accidently pushed the cap loc, not going to retype, I'm lazy. lol gobble

Its a 1945, I kept the wheel weights off to accent the rear wheels, I like those large spokes.Yes a secondary distillate tank. The original chrome strips were rough or missing so I rescued a pr. of hood trims from a 1949 Ford F1 parts pickup which was a donor to my other truck project.

Never saw any like that. Case was always a very rare tractor in my area and if you did see one it was a narrow front end.

Just the opposite here in Western Canada. DC4s and all other Case were common and tricycle front tractors were rare. A few found their way here post WWII when new tractors were in short supply and dealers could sell any they could get their hands on. My uncles got a DC3 like that in the late 40s. They eventually got the necessary parts to convert it to a wide front. Here is a photo of it in narrow front form.
