Delivered the cannons to the Cannons this afternoon. They were happy because their greenhouse is opening for the season this Friday. Didn't know if I was going to make it or not because I don't paint in
my shop and the weather has been crappy but the wife helped with the sanding and the painting.

Had the cannons put together-then took them apart and sandblasted them 3 weeks ago but did not paint them because of the crappy weather. Painted the primer last Fri.-sanded them Sat. and painted the black last Sun.-put them back together Mon. and touched them up and loaded them Tues.

Are they made to actually fire? Civil War re enactors around here actually fire similar cannons when they do a demonstration. They are super loud.

The man I bought my field piece from was once traveling trough Indiana to an event. He approached a highway stop manned by their state police (I think) behind a big notice that they were searching random vehicles for drugs and other contraband, including GUNS. The cannon was on the trailer, and the officers waved him through the checkpoint while the others parked in line waiting to be searched all pointed and yelled that the officers needed to stop his truck.
 
was with you till you said Tuesday, you loaded them... AND.. thats when the black helicopters started flying around you place and black cars parked all over the neighbor hood... No sir, I dont know him. (great job)
