Allis chalmers f80-24ps motor identification

I recently bought the forklift and think the engine is a continental but not sure. I bought a service manual for it but it doesn't even say the make lmao. It says it is a 230 cu in.

Might be a Buda, same as a Cockshutt 40. Allis Chalmers bought Buda.

It might be an Allis Chalmers G230, which is a Buda based engine. Look for a 7 digit casting number located on the left side of the block, between the timing cover and the boss (with two threaded holes in it) ahead of the distributor. Post the number, or a legible picture of it, if there is a number there. Some AC forklifts did use the G230.

thats a buda 230 c.i. cockshutt and allis chamers used buda then ac bought out buda

The 45128xx looks like an Allis Chalmers casting number, so it may well be a G230 engine built after AC bought Buda.
