I purchased a nice 605G Vermeer roller. Will a late John Deere 2440pull it?

Do you have hilly ground to bale, if so
probably not.

We pulled a JD 24t baler and kicker wagon with Moms 2440, on fairly level ground, many years. They
are rated at 65 hp. I would vote yes if not steep, also. We have hills here so moved up to a 4020.

Flat ground probably 2440 will be OK. Hilly ground I doubt 2440 is large enough. I've pulled my JD 467 rd baler with my Kubota M7040(64 pto hp)on virtually flat soil just fine.

60 Hp, 4800 pound utility tractor? Clearance to straddle a windrow could be limiting unless it is a high utility on 38 inch diameter rear rims.
