Front loader Compatibility

Most likely the wrong (too big) frame size and way heavier built than the 1900 would have originally. Make work? Yes! Overkill? Likely.

I will say while you might make it fit, it is not a practical, or reasonable, fit, and you couldn't do much, if any, work with it. Your 1900 is a compact utility tractor; the 4000 is a "full" sized tractor, that is much larger and more than twice the weight (before adding much ballast to it) of your tractor. Have you looked at a 4000 and the loader to see the size difference between it and yours, or are you just shopping loader ads?

If you ask down on the Ford Forum someone may be able to give you some loader makes and models that will be sized for your tractor.

A torch and a welder will make anything fit. I've had my loader on 3 different tractors by fabbing new brackets. The frame and arms may be overkill for your little tractor. Here's a pic of my buddy's 1710 with the factory loader for reference. A 1900 loader would probably be pretty much the same

The question was "will it WORK?" and the answer to that is NO.

Sure you can make it FIT but it will be so oversized and heavy on the front of the tractor that it will not be useable. Modifications to cut it down to where it will be appropriately sized for the tractor are possible, but impractical.
