A scene from harvest 1974 showing our 730 Case tractor and 460 pull type combine. Scanned this old 126 slide to make a jpeg image. It made a good jigsaw too.

Thanks for all the pictures and puzzles. it looks to me that you have been carrying a camera with you for a long time. Thanks for documenting your farm and sharing, so much better than stock photos. Jim

I guess I've been carrying a camera a long time. My first little black and white Banier ($1.50) got me started. Then the Kodak 44 was a big improvement but still pretty low res. The Olympus Trip 35 was a big step up in photo quality. From that one on it has been all digital. Nowadays its mostly the Iphone camera because its always in my pocket. I'm glad to have my history on photos.

The rear view of that series of Case standard tractors with those massive fenders is by far my very favorite tractor view. It projects heavy and tough and lugging ability to me. The lower RPM 6 cylinder 930 is my favorite - just such a smooth running and sounding engine.

I agree Ron. That big 401 six in the 930 has to be my all time favourite sounding tractor engine. I was lucky enough to get to drive one of the early six speed 930 comfort kings when working for a neighbour back in the early 70s. Later on we got our own with the big square fenders.

Nice photos, certainly harder to get at the time since not everyone carried a camera in their pocket.
