I have a a john deer 2010 i got it almost for free should have left it their need some help on the remote hydraulic

little run down its a john deer 2010 high crop i got it and it wasnt in running condition ive got it up and running and driving next the hydraulics did not work at all flushed the system many many time and new filter and all my hydraulics is up and working 3 point works great power steering is a breeze 3 point will pick a 8 ft set of disc no problem I decided i was goanna attach my small disc mower its only a 4 drum 5 ft cut and it has a hydraulic cylinder to pick the bar up and down with the remote hooked up and i know we have good hydraulic flow all it does is make a grinding noise front of floor board under dash area ive reseated the remote hoses many time to no change and also my steering is pushing hydraulic oil out but i never loose any hydraulic functions

I would still suspect the hose couplings. The grinding says it's trying, but there is a restriction.

Try loosening the lines at the mower cylinder, see is fluid is making it to and from the cylinder.

thank you i will try that today i dont like the remote setup honestly wanna find something to convert it to a pioneer style instead of the old jd any one every resealed the hydraulic steering

Do you have correct type male tip similar to photo below?

Does it have little levers on the remotes where you
plug the hose in? Some early Deeres had them. When
you plug the hose in you have to flip them to get flow.
They depress the ball in the end of the male hose
fitting. I think they are on the bottom.

yes i have flipped them both ways without any luck im new to this type of machine just cant seem to figure out everything just yet but its a night mare hooking the hoses up because it seems they were never used and full of sticky rust but their was a little fluid at the cutter

Adam : If your remote outlet uses the JD tip ,[ as in Tex. Jim pic] your will need to lock it in & start oil flow , by turning
short lever on side or outlet 1/4 turn ; .. 2010 tractors prior to ser. # 19239 '61' models, came with ISO
'pioneer'outlet...Check jdparts.com PC-689..

yes sir i have done that multiple times back and forth to no difference in the performance could something be wrong in the remote connection on the rear

If outlet coupler is rusted , & you have some oil flow ,from one line to cutter , Female part may not be moving outward
enough to contact tip, Try tapping coupler rearward from back side..

yessir tryed that as well with no luck at all

(quoted from post at 22:38:09 03/16/23) If you are using adaptors one or both of them may not be any good I have had them fail
alright guys took the remote hookup off cleaned it it is functioning properly the fittings flow oil but we have narrowed it down to under the dash to the valve the valve make a heck of a noise you can open the rear remote oil will flow but its not a whole bunch of oil small stream about 1/4 / 1/8 th diameter of a stream seems something is going on with the valve heard of people running loaders off the remote the flow i have is no where near enough flow to operate one off this tractor if you push the lever forward make a noise return the noise is their but faint and the power steering leak has increased as well comes out the center of the steering wheel and above throttle linkage was wanting to resolve the remote issue before the power steering but its leaking good!

couplers or does it have a short rubber hose at the coupler? could
be bad hose or a steel line going to the outlet is crushed.
im not a going green kinda person. remove coupler from line.start
tractor n pull remote valve.if it sprays oil freely and no growling
theirs your answer

Their is one other off the wall idea that comes to my mind. That is, their may be a restriction in the diverter valve on the front of the transmission cover. It affects both the power steering and the remotes. The following link should show the valve I am referring to.

You can locate it by looking through the round hole in the right side of the case just in front of the floor board. Just be aware that the cover is under pressure by the spring and will jump off the case as you remove the two bolts. LOL.
The last one I tore apart suffered from two problems, it was packed with silicone from a previous repair to the top cover in lieu of the correct gasket. The second problem was the spring was broken and NLA. This led me to a shade tree farmer fix, in my stash of springs I found one near the same diameter and diameter wire size and shortened to length. I also would recommend you hold a rag over the opening and roll over the engine, with out starting the engine, to flush out the internal gallery from the pump to the valve.
Sorry, about the long post, but as a last resort you might check that valve and please let everyone know how you solve the problem, thanks.

(quoted from post at 15:20:00 03/17/ alright ill try that the lines flow fluid fine and flows threw the hard lines and threw the coupler just not a lot of fluid coming threw just seems as its loosing hydraulic flow and pressure but everything else works just fine and when you push the spool valve forward or backwards and it makes the noise im trying to get it all figured out
