Did you know the background story on this
tractor,? maybe you've shared, but I'm sure
others will be interested in your story.
Did you know it was there before buying it?
Good luck keeping on the project. GG

Yeah, I know the story behind it. It was built August 19, 1942 for the 1943 model year. It was shipped to Grandforks, ND with steel wheels. I don't know how my Great Great Uncle got it other than he said who he bought it from but I don't remember the name. When he bought it the mag was stored in a shed which burnt down. I had been asking for him to sell for 4-5 years but he never gave me an answer other than " It would be cheap". Last year at the family picnic out at the church that borders his property he asked if I was the guy who'd been asking about a JD and I replied, "yes, that was me". He said "You can have one, for nothing". Why'd I pick this one out of the 4 Bs, a D, and an R? Well, when I was 9 I saw this one and for some reason grew attached to it. So it was just being able to get the tractor that had caught my eye 5 years earlier.

A few days ago you posted some pictures of your B after a snow storm. I asked if the building behind
your B could be emptied out so you could have a place to work on it undercover.
I don't think I've seen an answer.
