Deep hard snow

Cleaning up a few drifts today from the weekend high winds. Snow so hard the blower would not dig in enough in one pass. Had to hit it multiple times. And that crazy 3 point hitch on the 2140 keeps on with it's hijinks. Then broke a bearing on the shaft that drives the auger on the blower so that was the end of the day.

I'm glad we don't get that hard snow like that very often. As for the back blade we had one on a 574 with a loader on the front sucked always either hung up on the blade or it was in the way to get around. Never missed it after it was gone.

(quoted from post at 20:54:21 03/12/23) Just noticed after posting these pictures of my A Farmall, that we have the same beautiful BLUE sky. Oh and thanks for the puzzle.
Blue sky and sunshine makes working better. This snow was so hard it could have been cut into bricks with a saw and built a house with it. Theres a few places on the farm yard where a rear blade would be real handy but I'd think its pretty limited in deep snow.

Hey rusty6. I dont own a snow blower but I spent 4 hours yesterday with my tractor and 9 foot snow push in the main yard. Piles of snow around the yard that I havent seen for quite a while. Maybe our climate emergency is over. Lol.

Just another temporary emergency. And winter isn't over here yet for at least another month. Plenty of time for more snow but I hope not.
