From what I can tell a 1979 model. First year of production. The Titans were out in the fall of 1978 for the 1979 model year. Dad was looking for a combine and the one JD dealer could sell a 6620 with 643 & 215 heads and 30.5 X 32 tires for 50,000 dollars. That price soon faded away and the 643 head became a 443, the grain table went from a 215 to a 213, the drive tires became 26 inch, no radio, and no turbo for 50,000 dollars nearly a year later. Inflation was pretty bad then.

We run a 7720 with 25foor flex and 8 row cornhead. go just about anyplace you can walk and not sink in. This is with 30.5-32'sand 2wd had 24inch rear tractor tires on the back.
