45 John Deere B with Wico X mag

I've been using my B to haul firewood to the wood pile. It has been running great until I started it to take a load to the woodpile this morning. It started but with the transmission in neutral and clutch disengaged ran like it was pulling a big load up a big hill. Would hardly move itself in low gear. Nothing was tight or binding. I figured it must be timing. I took the mag off my AR and put it on the B and now it runs fine. I wonder what is wrong with the mag to make it out of time.

Points can slip adjustment. Impulse coupling can be stuck. Bad condenser. Water in the cap. Jim

I had condensation get under the cap on my Farmall C.
