2 - 835 mocos no operators manual. i know cutterbar uses jd
hydraulic oil 2.15 gallon. can anybody tell me how much gear boxes
hold and type of oil?

You can download operator manuals for them, for free, at the John Deere Technical Bookstore. Here is a link.

Click the Equipment Publications button and do a model search for 835. There maybe several choices by serial number range or market.

thanks but its not my machine. looks to be costly. when they
bought them on om was with either machine. several times a om
has been requested.

Costly??? At the site I gave you the manuals can be downloaded and saved for FREE - no charge. Once saved to a computer or device they can be printed if one wants a hard copy. At the right side of the box that comes up when you click on one of the operator's manuals there is often two icons. A square with an arrow in it opens the manual to read online. The bigger arrow pointed down, with a line under the point is the download icon. It appears there are 3, possibly 4, choices based on serial numbers. The info you want might be the same for all the choices, but it would seem easier for you to just download the right manual(s). Or have the owner of the machines do it, then he will have the Operator's manuals.

The prices shown are if you want to purchase a printed Operator's manual or electronic copies of it on a CD or USB thumb drive from that site.

I don't know what is going on your end. I just tried one of the 835 selections again and did not get a credit card request using either the view online or download icons. They request a card if you put it in a cart to purchase a copy and try to get it that way.

What is the serial number(s) of the 835s you are working on? I can link the "View online" Operator's manual for the serial number(s) you have. The download is a pdf document and won't link.

my daughter was down ,let her deal with it.she had to make few changes. seems ive got a direct account with john deere and it was automaticly billing me. she had to change it somehow
