rear wheels for a ford 4000

hi i have a ford 4000 1965 2wd tractor i am having trouble locating a second hand rear rim & tire to fit it is 16 /9 /30 in Australia were i live . i have located some wheels of a Ford 8340 4wd size 620.75R 34 my question is will these rear wheels fit and replace the 16/9/30 rear wheels i know they are bigger & wider but can it be done with out to much trouble both are 8 stud Patten [/b]
 

Personally I think that way to much tire for a 4000
30 inch wheels from a 4000, 4600, 4610, 4630, 5000, 5600, 5610 will work on your tractor
30 inch wheels from a 6600, 6610 will also fit
 
Hi Monterey

Search tractor wreckers and get one close to you to reduce freight. I have used Neil's parts to get rims here in NSW. You will be taking a chance on the condition of the tyres but photos are your friend unless you can eyeball the tyres yourself.

all ready running 16/9/30 on the tractor prob was i couldn't find a rim & Tyre to replace the rusted out rim & worn tyre
 
Which "8-lug pattern" are you talking about? There are two.

One is the 8-lug pattern in the center of the wheel that fastens the center disc to the hub on the tractor. This should be the same. Measure to be sure.

The other is the 8-lug pattern around the rim which attaches the rim to the disc. This will be different from 30" to 34". It will not fit.
