Changing bearingings in one of those sucks in the field. I drilled a second hole in the reel so I could get a punch in there to get the bearing off. The new ones slide right one then. I got bearings from a place other than the dealer. For a lot less. It is just the bearing no cast housing on it. New a few years ago they wanted 38.0 or something like that for those small bearings with casting and new bolts. I think I paid about 15 for them freight included for enough to change the whole thing out this was last year. About 24 bearings or something like that.

The first half of Jan. and working out is the yard on machinery--Ya got to like it! I built us a rolling basket harrow 5 years ago--Put it on a vertical till I built from a Glencoe soil saver. Got my bearings from Shoup--It's been over alot of acres and is still going---Tee

You sure you want to use that Rebar in the spiral, my neighbors has two Wil-Richs , one use's a blade narrow edge down, the other use a shaft, the shaft one plugs when it see's a wet spot, the other goes threw the mud much much better!

Sorry RWB--Don't want to Hi-Jack your post--maybe I already did--We did not get any field work done because of the fall before's weather so we ran that home made VT over almost all of the cornstalks in the Spring before Son planted beans. We left a check and when Son combined he said it was 7 bu. better where we ran it??? I ran it on almost all the acres and never plugged up-don't know how it would do in previously worked ground---
