Got the cab on

I finished up on the Year Round cab on my 3015. It is a 3020 with a 3010 engine but has a 3020 head and the small fuel injectors. Thanks to
those that helped with adding the heat. I did notice my temp guage does not get as warm as before. I guess with pulling out of the head and
through the heater it is letting more coolant bypass than before. I plan to stick a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator to help warm
it up more and mostly to give me more heat in the cab. Need to make a floor mat and seal up a few more air leaks. Much better than the heat
houser I had been using. Tom

Looks good on there!! I have the same cab on my 1850 minus the heat. Take side and rear windows out in the summer and have a great sun shade, make a more user friendly set of steps to get in.

Looks good. Something to consider. I would try to get the temp up. The more I sealed the gaps on the doors, the more the windows fogged on the inside on my Kubota when blowing snow. This cab is far from air tight.

I just found the heat houser so hard to get in and out of. This tractor does most of my spraying so the cab will be nice for that as well. Tom

I have been thinking about better steps. This is a very early cab and the doors open forward so that makes it harder to build different steps for. Also can't be to big as this tractor does most of my spraying and sometimes you get into some tall soybeans on second pass spraying. Tom

Here's what I made for my 1850, sorry it's so far away, too many pictures to go thru to find a better one. Chris

It looks like it is 1977! Looks good.

I remember fighting with the heat houser. The best set up we had was on the 3020 we sold you. We had a step on the back and the 3 point arms off, so one could get on and off without fighting the door.

Thoughts.....get as thick of a floor mat as possible... horse trailer mats work well, better if doubled. Glue some padding or foam, to the ceiling or you will definitely go deaf. also around seat bottom area. Removable doors and windows for summer time are a must. A 12 volt truckers fan, on dash, will help keep windshield unfogged in the winter and driver cooler in the summer. Thermostat should fix any water flow problem and shut off flow to radiator as needed to keep engine and cab as warm as possible. Install a heater hose cut off valve on one or even both hoses for summer use works well. ENJOY your new to you tractor. Great 3m low noise headphones with or without bluetooth are great on most ANY tractor and allow tunes while you work, if like your hearing... Amazon usually has best prices..

Tom,we had a cab like that once. We rehinged the doors to swing backwards. Had to redo/switch sides on the latches. Wasnt that hard to do. Made a lot nicer cab for entry/exit.

I have put a couple cabs on tractors. The first was an Ansel 'Ace of Diamonds' from a 9000 Ford on an 856. Another Ansel 'AoD' from an 1130 Massey on my 706,which I still own.Took some 'engeneering' to make it all happen. But the end result was good.

I had this cab on a 4020 years ago so I know headphones are a must. Keep a pair hanging in the cab. The past few years I wear them on the open tractors as well if they are working hard. Tom

Man I know where that thing came from.. sure looks like it would be nice there. Hope all is well with you and your KUBOTAS
