It's been a 100 years since the John Deere D came out. That means 100 years off John Deere tractors and still running strong.

Not so sure the new ones are running strong. IMHO the new ones wont be in a 100 years from now. But the D will still be running strong if you can find gas.
 
i would bet any money that none of the computerized electronic solenoid s and hydraulic pump gizmo junk will survive without spending twice what the tractor is worth for tech expertise to keep it working. in other words , any modern tractor still working 100 yrs from now will have a long history of repair work. . but the old D and the DC Case,,,and the early diesels will still be running .just from a simple kid farmer that just changed the oil at regular intervals
