Skoda. Established in the Bohemian region of Austria/ Czechoslovakia in the later part of the 19th century. They built truck, trolleys, locomotives, and tractors throughout their existence. Going defunct in 1999 they are now part of Doosan.

Skoda, a Czechoslovakian company now wholly owned by the Volkswagen Group. Cars were once the butt of many jokes over here like:

Why to Skoda's have heated back windows? To keep your hands warm as you push them.
What do you call a Skoda with two tail pipes? A wheelbarrow.

Since the takeover, the cars image has changed and it has become one of the most reliable and popular cars over here and throughout Europe. Their diesel cars did get into a bit of trouble, along with others when it became known that Volkswagen had been falsifying the diesel emission results for their car range.

"Must have been a job to get that lined up. I've always wondered just exactly how they did that."

My grandfather told me you pulled up at an angle, with the front wheels
turned, pulled in farther than you wanted to be and put the belt on.
Then you backed up with the wheels still turned to tighten the belt.
Apparently, once you got good at it, it was second nature.
Never done it myself.
