Im changing the water pump. Thats the east part.

Any trucks to getting the fan / shroud out and forward a bit get the pulley off?

It looks like I need to disassemble the entire front and above to remove it seems like the fan shroud is very close to coming out but even if it does I still need to take all the hydraulic lines and other stuff from above.

Any advice?
Thanks. Grant

I don't how everybody else does it but I take shroud and fan out the top. Take the bolts out that hold the radiator so you can push top of radiator forward. I don't loosen any hydralic lines. Push them side ways. Hope this helps. RB

Thanks RB,
I ended up slotting out the sheet metal right behind where the 6300 decal is. This opened up the area and I was able to slide out the fan and shroud together.
Changed the pump. Took a bit of wiggling and gentle prying to get the fan and shroud back in and lined up but was not too bad. Worst thing was dad dropped two of the fan nuts and it took us 30 min to find them. One under the tire lugs and the other bounced / rolled back behind the tractor.

When completed I cut a backer piece of flat bad and bolted it all back together. Its not the perfect solution but it worked I dont think I could have pushed the hoses out of the way on this one, they were steel lines and the oil cooler and rad would have needed a bit more than unbolting to slide them forward. I looked at it though.

Glad you gott'er done. I don't like that fan shroud set up. Good job on gettin it done. RB

The water pump was really easy to do. No hoses on that set up and just an O-ring. I was just hoping it was just the o-ring as the shaft was smooth and tight. I put a new one on and bolted the old pump back on and filled with water to check. Once the belt was on it started dribbling out behind the pulley. Easy to get off and put the new pump on at that point.

Still awkward to get the shroud and fan back in. It is a bit of a dumb set up, the engineers obviously had a reason but I fined that fan / shroud / rad placement has lots of areas that I cant get in with the air wand to blow out the dirt.

It got a good cleaning while apart too.
