Massey Heaven

I think the MF 165 may have been one of the best tractors available. My neighbor would say I see a Moline hiding out.

I wonder how much work these machines did before they were relegated to the museum. Looks like a lot of work left.
Thanks for posting!

Well, I don't recollect seeing any comprehensive photo's of your entire fleet, MHN, just an occasional flirting shot of a Pony, or a 25, or a couple of 44's. So it will be pretty hard to judge a comparison-can you hear the challenge, there?!!!! We do love our old, and older tractor pics.

Big fan of the Masseys, especially our 285 8speed. Real heavy built, durable and reliable, with excellent gear selection. Heavy enough to rip along a set of plows or a disk nicely but nimble enough to be a perfect mate for a 7ft bush hog. I would love an 1130 but I drove a 285 with the MP a lot so I have had a direct comparison, lets just say I would really love an 1130 without MP. I'd also like a 165 8speed diesel. But our little 135 Perkie gas will do for now. Been very happy with our red. The only shade of red I love. Beautiful collection, I wish more people took an interest in the old Masseys around here. The ones around here look like they were purchased for the purpose of being cheap beaters.
