thickness of anhydrous tanks

What is the thickness of an anhydrous tank and weight if anybody knows. This would be the empty weight and wall thickness. These are 1000 gallon models.

Cash4toys So your saying they are about 1/4 inch thick in general or a bit more. Thanks. Was needing that for some revamping I'm planing on doing with one.

Is the mfg's rating/approval plate still on the tank? Thicknesses should be stamped on it, IIRC.

The older tanks were thicker than the more modern stuff. They have a lot better steel than they used to.

One of mine is the more rounded end tank smaller diameter like only about 4 foot the other is flatter on the end and bigger in diameter like closer to 55 inches maybe. I didn't measure them just guessing right now. Want to use them for field rollers on beans mostly.

I just pulled up one manufacturer's build specs. Pretty sure some were thicker, but doubt any thinner than that built. Anhydrous transport tanks carry a higher psi rating than propane, or, I should say that they used to be that way. I think field rollers are thicker than that, at least the ones I've looked at up close anyway. Design for equal pressure internally would be different than for external pressure point loaded.
