I had to break down and fill the old car lastnight . And gas was down to 3.099 . I can't remember when the last time it was that i got gas in the old car. I am thinking that it was last years the day after Thanksgiving before the start of Deer season . i know i have had to put the battery charger on it a half dozen times over the year from lack of driving it . Also had to drop the blower motor and fan down and remove mouse nests three times . Sure glad that is easy . And according to the trip meter it had 267.4 miles on it . with a little over 105000 miles since 2005 . Diesel around here has dropped down to 5.99.9 My Dodge 3500 can set .
 
Wow, it dropped DOWN to 5.99.9 Ever since the beginning of 2021 there have been dramatic price increases in gas, groceries, diesel, heating fuel and especially inflation up record levels since the 1.4% just pre 2021............ WELL DRATS But hey I pray for and remain positive optimistic and hopeful this will turn around SOONER THE BETTER

That is cheap. Our diesel was darn near 10.00 a gallon. Then theyre yapping they want to get to zero emissions by 2050. Guess if they get rid of humans first it could happen. I thought thats what that Chineeeze fluuu. thing was all about.
 
Got gas today for $3/gal. I've about scratched a hole through my head trying to figure out WHY! Gas normally goes up around holidays, and it never comes down that quickly in this area. Never. $2.999?? What gives?!?!? I'm happy, but what gives?!?!?
 
I read an article in line that a refinery on the Texas gulf coast was coming back on line after a maintenance shutdown that started in September. I noticed in September our prices along the gulf coast jump up alot. After reading that article prices are coming down. Maybe refining capacity is catching up a bit. I think it was the Motiva refinery in Port Arthur?
 
KWIK-TRIP has been the lowest price in Southern Wisconsin all fall, I've paid as low as $3.45.9/gal. I always check on-line before I go to any of my closest stations.

Same here, but it was $3.95 at 7-11 in Gouv. Went down towards Utica last Sat, $3.84. Meanwhile Canton/Pdam will be 10-15 cents higher than Gouv! This is nuts!
 
I remember sitting in the back seat of the car as my father drove past a gas station and saying, "35 nine for gas! I'm not paying 35 cents for gasoline", and he drove off.
 
They've accomplished exactly what they set out to do. Gas is under $4 and we're all excited and saying how cheap it is. Saw this coming from a mile away
 
That IS kind of ironic, isn't it? I too can remember when it first hit 50 cents, and we thought the world was going to end! Now we're celebrating that it's getting back DOWN to almost $3.00!
 
I think LP was cheaper than that. Had a friend that ran a herd of IH Lps back in the '60's. I had one LP....'69 JD 4020. One was
enough. Couldn't wait to get rid of it and get a Diesel.
