The Cummins Engine Company was founded in Columbus, Indiana, in 1919 by Clessie Cummins, a local mechanic, and investor William Glanton Irwin.

Will we be seeing Cummins Hydrogen engines in tractors, trucks and semis any time soon?

Some will ask where are we going to get hydrogen?

Actually Hydrogen burns real nice, it's major byproduct from burning is.,,, WATER, H2O. Two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen, as long as the engine doesn't burn oil or some other contaminant, hydrogen is about as pollution free as you can get.
I don't think Even The Green New Deal idiots in Washington could screw this idea up! You can tell AOC studied Mix-ology in college to improve her bar-tending tips, and didn't study ANY kind of science.
This Lithium battery nonsense has got to stop. It's doing un-reversable damage to our environment trying to mine the Lithium, and all the other rare elements needed for these batteries, you know the ones that spontaneously combust setting the car on fire that even the well equipped fire departments can't put out.

If I remember right, Tata means coal in Hungarian. Had a friend in Tatabanya, Hungary. It meant coal town. they weren't kidding. There was a place outside of town near a power plant where they used a snowplow to keep the ash off the roadway.

Tata is a HUGE Indian company. I believe it's the single biggest company in India. Think General Motors, General Electric and US Steel combined. Tata is a household name in India, and they have a large presence in the US. I worked a great deal with IT guys who worked for Tata Consultancy Services and were under contract to US companies. If you go to India, you'll find Tata-branded stuff EVERYWHERE. Tata cars. Tata wristwatches. Tata steel pipe. It's impossible to walk down the street for more than a block or two without seeing the Tata brand on something.

Getting more difficult to by American made.
 
Hope it works out as well as when Cummins teamed up w/Case to develop and marked the CDC engines. A lot of politicians will lose money invested in green energy.

ou have a better memory than I, because I don't remember that. But I did notice that they are now building a plant in America, but is Chinese owned.
