finally installing tin on my 43 year old 32x40 shop. it has stood the test of time for the last 43 years. only 3/8 fir plywood on the out
side and its actually not in bad shape. was pretty chilly out there today but the neighbor and i got 2 walls done in 14 degree's f.and snow.

this is the start on it last weekend.

If it was mine and it went 43 years it would wait another little while until it wasn't 14 deg. and snowing.

Pretty cold for that work. Mine is about fifty years old and was originally just chipboard or "aspenite" as they called it back then. Even painted it was started to chip away in places so it got a layer of nice red tin on the walls about 30 years ago to go along with the unpainted steel on the roof. It should outlast me now.

Yep, my shop was built with Oliva Round Rafters, their strong as ever, but i had to put steel on the roof after about 47 years, it should of been put on their, when new !!

I added wainscoating to my second pole barn.

I used vinyl siding on my old farmhouse.
It didn't cost more. Adds a little character.
