I had the windows open. Here in the Shenandoah it was 77 with 81 forecast tomorrow. I'm using the time to lay in more locust.

A buddy and I share firewood cutting. A year ahead, as usual. Split and stacked inside my pole shed. Working on next winter's supply.

We have been burning for about a month, but will be done in a week, heading to Arizona! We have about a 3 year supply in the woodshed, have been burning some that was cut 6 years ago. Dry wood is important for modern efficient stoves.

We burned a few days early in October, bust its been really warm the past 2 weeks, so we quit. Will start back up again, as its supposed to be in the 20's overnight later this week. Got 2 +years in the wood shed, almost all ash. And just started skidding trees into the backyard to replace what we burn this winter.
