1948 Farmall cub front pulley removal

(quoted from post at 03:03:09 11/05/22) What pitch thread and size is the bolt that threads on the crank ?

Crank snout threads are 1/2'' - 13 X 1-1/4''.

1/2x 13 bolt its too big, the hole in the crank snout is
about 7/16 hole , that the drill size I could fit inside, also
the threads seem to be fine.

If a 7/16" drill will fit in the threaded hole and you know it isn't metric, then it is 1/2", either 13TPI or 20TPI.

Not sure where you're going with a bolt in the crank to remove the pulley. What you need is a 12 ton jack and a homemade puller to get it off without heat. They are really on there.

I used a very large bearing separator and a large puller, and heat.

Where do you put the the piston of the bottle Jack against?
I thought you would thread a long bolt into crank snout and the Jack would push against the bolt pulling the the pulley with the home made set up.
