Case 2294 backing up when depressing the clutch

Hi all I have a 2294 case tractor that just had the powershift done in it before I got it but when Im driving ahead and I hit the clutch pedal theres a bit of a whining sound from the transmission and the tractor starts to back up a a little was wondering if anyone had this and what I can do to fix it cause it surely cant be right

Clutch cable not adjusted correctly? Does it grind gears a little when shifting?

I can look into that, is there a trick to adjust the cable? it does grind a little when shifting yes

Back/shorten clutch pedal stop bolt. hold pedal w/your hand till travel ends. then screw stop bolt out till it touches fire wall.
