Prince PTO Hydraulic Pump

I recently purchased a Prince PTO hydraulic pump at an auction. The only number I can find on the
pump is C593. I've tried finding the capacities online such as gpm and pressure, but so far have
struck out. Do any of you know the specs for this pump? I'm mainly wondering about gpm at 540
rpm.

I'd guess thats a casting number. Try calling Prince. You'll probably have to take it apart.
Or hook it up, turn it slow and do some math.

My loader has a prince pump, the main difference is the width of the center section, mine is the wide one, about 2- 21/2 wide, think its 21 gallon, narrow one, about 1 1/2 wide is about 13 gallon per minute, they should be the same pressure, you will have a relief valve on your hydraulic levers.

Thanks. I did see in my searches online that the PTO pumps that Prince makes are basically two sizes as far as gpm. Mine has the smaller mid section, about 1.5 inches like you mentioned, so would be the 13 or so gpm size.

Surplus Center has a calculator on their site for gear pumps. You pull a cover, measure the gear depth and diameter, and the distance between the outside of the gears. Gives you volume. Then multiply that by rpm's for GPM. If I knew how to post a link, I'd do that for you. Try this:
