I believe I read that Florida Flywheelers has a huge swap meet the 3rd week in Jan. What should I expect when I get there. Parking??? Shuttles to haul treasures back to the pickup??? Hours??? Certain days better than others??? Thanks Gerald

Parking is not a problem. I would strongly suggest renting a golf cart, my first time I walked for 6 plus hours and did cover all the grounds. You can also bring your own golf cart.

There are 76 Rows of exhibits but the fleas as well as tractors, implements and no tellin what ARE ALL MIXED TOGETHER. If each row was 1/8 mile that would be like 9 miles so a golf cart might be a good thing. There are a gazillion golf carts its more like a golf cart convention where they decided to throw in a tractor show lol.............IN ADDITION theres a whole village to the West of the exhibit field. I advise people to dedicate a whole day in the Village alone and maybe 2 days in the exhibit field if you want to spend enough time to see it in detail. NOTE the February show is bigger than the January. I have gone on and off like 20 years and for a long time have exhibited at both the Jan and Feb sometimes November shows in the far Northwest corner of the grounds in row 74. Arrive early, put on your walkin shoes, watch out for all the golf carts, Thursday is often less crowded than a Fri or Sat, DO NOT MISS THE VILLAGE its the entire West end of the grounds.

You Tube has several videos of it (Florida Flywheelers) check it out

John T will be there Jan and Feb

Here is their website all about everything....
I can't seem to find the info on what the rules are for golf carts. As I recall it is pretty much any type vehicle less than 60 inches wide. Gas or electric or peddle, even steam maybe. You can bring your own into the grounds. Do not know if there is an extra fee or not.
