Denny's restaurant sent out an email that today, October 14, is National Desert Day. Does that qualify as another Pie Day?

I'd say, 'Yes, definitely.'

Unfortunately the only way we could get pie TODAY, would be to make a hasty drive to raid Bruce and Genny's pie stash in Canada. GRIN

It may not qualify, but Miss Joanne made her first persimmon cake today. It is very good! I did not think to get a pic of it. We cut it into pieces and will take some to the farmers market tomorrow.

Humidity here in East Central Arkansas was 22 percent at 3pm today.
That is low for us.
