Gatlinburg TN

Go over to Cherokee nation area , nice school town , restaurants and ambiance ,,,stay your money away from Casino. We liked the Dolly Parton Stampede and the Comedy house , and the Aquarium ,.. We stayed at Le-conte motel , ID walked over to get pancake breakfast each day ,,. But Tractors ,, Well they are there but golly THey are working

Red Rooster Pancake House in Pigeon Forge. There may be more, but thats all I know about. And dont spend too much time at Ole Smokey or Sugarlands.

I suspect it is the same Gatlinburg .... the town in Johnny Cash's 'Boy Named Sue' song where Sue finally tracked down his dad who hung that name on him? Here's the one verse ....

Well, it was Gatlinburg in mid-July
And I just hit town and my throat was dry,
I thought I'd stop and have myself a brew.
At an old saloon on a street of mud,
There at a table, dealing stud,
Sat the dirty, mangy dog that named me Sue.

You are at the wrong end of Tennessee for tractors and farming. The fall foliage colors are about two weeks ahead, dry weather and early frost have made for beautiful scenery the rest is just your typical tourist stuff with some pretty good eating establishments. This week is fall break for tennessee schools so the place is packed and lots of traffic. Wife and here mother are up there and said they went out to eat last night and tried three places all had 2 hr wait so they went to fast food and carried it back to room to eat.

Not much tractor stuff but i recommend drivi g the Kades Cove loop and looking at the old homesteads.

About as close as you'd ever come would be an old homestead that was open to the public outside of town, but I would imagine the fire leveled that. Only other thing that would even come close is the Dukes of Hazard Museum.
