Hi Majorman is that a Perkins D270 diesel engine with a CAV rotary pump or the older L4 engine.

4-270, MJ. Virtually the same engine as the L4 apart from the head and pump. I have used a 4-270 block in an L4 because they were the same. Both were really good engines. Better than the 4-236 that replaced them in my view.
