Put some tomatoes on straw

Going to have cold this weekend.
Experimenting. Pulled tomatoe plants and put them on straw inside pole barn.
I'll have more tomatoes than I can eat if 10% of the tomatoes make it.
Already picked more ripe tomatoes than I need.
Free tomatoes, come and get them.

I'd like to have them, how about just popping them in the mail - I'll pay postage. ;^)

Old friend of mine use to hang the plants in his basement upside down from the floor joists.
They ripened up til Christmas.

If anyone would know what to do with green tomatoes it would be you. We canned and frozen all we need.
Is there a charity that could use leftover garden items that will get frosted of soon?
