I needed to lift a trailer up to work on it. I thought the loader was the right tool for the job. Darn tractor wouldn't start. I put the charger on it and tried to start it again. Pulled the cap off and laughed. The gap was about 3/8''. The spring may have broken. I didn't fix it. Some where I have a can with points in it that may have the parts I need to get it running again. I just walked away and used a cherry picker, which is what many of you call an engine hoist.

eally short cherry trees in your area?

Yes, some people call an engine hoist a cherry picker. Their cherry trees are all under two feet tall.

Two feet tall cherry trees! Har-de-har-har-har!

A full size "cherry picker" used for picking cherries. Also known as a pruning tower. Note the resemblance to the garage "cherry picker."

The name cherry picker is common around here also. (Northern Ill.-Southern Wis.)Also dikes for side cutters and water pump pliers for channel locks.

My Grandfather had a short ladder on his farm, approx. 5 feet tall; he called it his 'strawberry ladder'. LOL

I can remember when water pumps had a nut to tighten if they started to leak around the shaft.
