If you're referring to a JD model 44 FEL then NO. Model 44 was designed to fit a Lawn & garden tractor not a larger utility tractor.

I think your 302D is a 1973-1981 model 302 industrial tractor (the D is for the 3-cylinder diesel engine, John Deere parts does not have a D series 302).
In the JD parts catalog, the 44 loader shows as being built 1984-1988 for tractors like the 420 and 430 Garden tractors.
I would say not it will not fit.
