Good evening: A question of what took place today when a JD 4020? was run out of fuel.
With the lower bleed screw (pump body) i got bubble free fuel within a few cranks, closed it and
opened the upper bleed screw and no bubbles or fuel..?
Rolled it over a few more times looking for air, and it started to make white smoke/barked and started...
Still there was no fuel out of the upper bleed ?
Are you able to learn me why/how this happened ?
I can only think the upper bleed is blocked inside by dirt? and it self bled the lines/injectors as i rolled it?
As for running/power no loss noticed using a 6ft bush hog.
Curiously can kill the cat...on this one.
Tks for your thoughts
