Thought I would post this as it might help someone out sometime.

Needed some poly hose wrap for a project.

Used a short piece of shaft and a cut down utility knife blade along with a short piece of bolt cut in half.

Will need to make multiple posts for all the pics.

A set screw tapped in the end of the shaft holds everything in place.

A scrap of 1 inch poly water pipe quickly gets turned into a nice wrap.

Very Good!! I've made hose wrap out of black plastic water line, but your cutter is much more sophisticated than mine. Thanks!

I've went to used fire hose and 2 inch will let you put 2 1/2 inch hoses through it. I did it with the tips on them. one at a time. Or you can get 1 inch hose for bigger or single hoses. Seems to work well and complete coverage of the hose. From cylinder to tractor. this helps keep the sun off the rubber covering on the hose.

I made one the hole size I used to clap the blade 3/8" I had a few 3/8" blades. I broke the first blade then the second I think I was clamping the blade to tight. I don't know where I will find those 3/8" blades.

Success : )

Very nice. What makes the spiral? Id the blade installed at an angle? Do you just turn the pipe by hand and push?
