It's nice to have internet again

Was having lots of lost connections last week, but lost internet completely Friday afternoon. Still on low power apparently. Seems Verizon was already working on the problem by the time I contacted them. Heck, it's probably their fault. *lol*
 
my verizon phone service was out for a week in mid-tenn. Contacted them & they said they were working on it; finally came back tho I could drive 15 miles & get great service. That got old for a week.
 
When my internet goes down, it is caused by lightning, mice or a
drunk or farmer runs over the tower alongside the road. Last
time it was a farmer mowing the side of the road.

Some are saying 5g cell phones will replace internet service.

When I lose my internet I turn on mobile hotspot on my
smartphone. Yes it's slow, 4g.
 
I called charter after the hurricane last year. The power and cable was off for weeks with broken poles and down wires.

Their answer was you never called and reported your service was off so we have no idea of how long your service was off or how much we should credit you.
 
I lost satellite service most of the month of July. Decided to check out local. Found a great company serving the local area, had
them install a 60' tripod tower, internet is lightning fast and $45/Mo. Tickled to death.
