Corn harvest

Corn harvest yesterday.

3 semis along the side of the road.
Farmer has 2700 acres to harvest.

Doesnt look like the best corn.

Lot of that too dry, too wet, tar spot disease, etc this year.

Pretty green crops around here still, but a little turning finally.

Ok we go small size, PAID FOR size, like Tom,
Moved to second field last night, fighting ruts from sprayer that didn't really do anything for the weeds....

BIL just drove I-70 from St Louis to Denver and said only the crops that were irrigated made it. The rest were so stunted and dry that they didn't look like they were worth messing with.

This field wasn't irrigated.
Agree not the best looking corn in the neighborhood.

Same with beans. Don't look good without irrigation.

I don't irrigate my lawn and haven't mowed it that often this year.
