Dieseltech, good chance to drop in on the Flywheeler's in South Haven that weekend. Just something to think about. Rain forecasted, not supposed to be a washout.
 
I'd like to take my Oliver 500 orchard down there one of these years since I got it in Hartford and we thing it was converted by
Friday, but it won't be this year. I'd like to see if anybody around there remembers ever seeing it before.
 
Last year, 2021 was the best. Four friends and I DROVE tractors 1,160 miles in eleven days to cross the bridge. Does not include the 60 miles ferry boat ride across Lake Michigan. Started and returned to western Wisconsin.
 
I've done it for all but one year. Not going this year. It is a fun ride with lots of people there. To many drivers want to leave big gaps and the viewers begin to think it is over and leave from the boredom. I used to haul 4 loads per year at one time to it and then back again. Did that for 10 years or more.
 
Crossed the big Mac eight years. Taking this year off.

You do need a bridge pass bought through the club you join. The club I'm with is the second group across as they help with tractor parking at Little Bear arena.
 
rrlund, sounds like the kind of tractor people would remember.

Thanks for the info on club membership, I thought it was a first come first go basis until I read your post last year. It's one of the things on my bucket list, so now I guess I'll have to join a club. Not liking that idea, being somewhat of a hermit and all.
