Yellow project #1

After getting the engine back together and replacing all of the bushings on the front axle of Yellow project #1, the 301A Scrap Pile. I started working the front loader over. The three point and PTO were either never used or rarely used on this machine. The front loader was used a lot and probably never greased. These are pictures of the boom where the front bucket is pinned. Also had to make new pins.

So on August 18th you show us an engine with the head off and one piston you sawed in half to remove it and you say two lifters and the camshaft were seized. Now on the 21st you have the engine completely back together which I would assume that means it is overhauled?? You missed quite a bit of photo documentation for our viewing pleasure. ??

Sorry for the confusing. Project #1 is over the coarse of about 2 years. These are old pictures. Was ask for more details on bringing it back from being a pile of scrap. Project #4 is current.
This is a picture of project #1.

So this is number 1 project in the picture looking like an operational machine? it had the things poured in it and set to lock the engines? Now you have it repaired and operational? It had the seized cam and lifters? Did you have to get a different block or dis you save it?

I had to replace the cam shaft. The one that was stuck was pitted to bad for my taste. I was surprised the block and head survive. The cylinder that I had to bust out the piston had been busted from the inside out from water freezing in the cylinder. I replaced all of the lifters with new ones.
