It's easier to get help when you identify the make and model of tractor and inj pump if you know.

Send it to Dieseltech, it's what he does. Hasn't done mine yet, but everyone says he does great work, fast and reasonable. When the pump on my Case goes, he gets it. He has done a bunch for people here, just ask. He knew what it was without knowing what it came off of.

We were not allowed to mess with them. We had to send them to a overhaul shop. Too much to go wrong. We get caught. Looking for a new job. If the shop did it was on them.

If anyone is curious he has referred to a pump from Farmall 350 diesel in one of his other post. They are an oddball due to them having a Continental diesel in them, the engines were known to break the crankshaft.

(quoted from post at 20:30:53 08/19/22) Would anyone happen to know where I can get a rebuild kit for my injection pump?

There's some references that say the Farmall 350 Continental diesel uses a Roosa Master pump. It this is true, the parts are pretty common.

Toby has a couple of videos on YTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKuk4u1SZKM

If you're dealing with a Roosa Master, just google Roosa Master parts kits and many will come up.

So does this mean you are going to try to reseal the pump yourself? Can it be done? Yes. Is it wise for a ..newbie.. to do this on a pump that has been setting and that you have no idea what problems it had previously or if it ran good before ..NO.. or at least in my opinion. If you have not had one of these pumps opened up before and had someone show you step by step what you need to do, Pandoras box WILL BE opened. Do yourself a favor, box it up and send it to Dieseltech. I am sure he can get you a kit, but I would be surprised if he sold you one under these circumstances.
