Oil specs d17

I have a 1959 d17 series 1 that I'm looking for a picture of the oils specification from manual for amounts and location (my manual is not very clear and very old and worn so I'm having difficulties telling where exactly to add for the hydraulic sump and clutch compartment)

I don't have a manual to take pictures of the pages you are asking about, but here is the info. Allis/ AGCO 821XL would be the current oil spec and the compartments you asked about, fill through the holes their respective dipsticks are in.

New operator's manuals (reprints like most) for the different D17s models are less than $20 from AGCOpubs. Less expensive than most on eBay.

In 1959 the oil would have been just a little better than strait 20W.

The cheap Tractor Tough from Orschlens would be better than anythign speced in 1959

This is NOT the super cheap stuff they got sued over.

Or spend a few dollars more and get this:

$54 a 5 gallon bucket.
