In 1944 Robert Crawford the agricultral engineer from Lincolnshire imported six of these tractors

It sure could! Heres one I shortened years ago. To make it all work I had to re-clock the steering gear, bend a few brackets, shorten the steering shaft and hood, Slide the rear axle forward and eliminate the drive shaft, then add wheelie bars!
Notice I even cut 2 cylinders off the back of the engine (I swapped out the low power 4 cylinder Hercules NXB for a no power BXB twin).
